The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed in regards to the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on sassa service the area every day. The support position developed for intervention experiences a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and improve use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
